Pretty much what the titles saying, I'm just wondering if exam 1 and 2  are worth the same percentage?

Technically yes, all GAs are worth 33.33%. However, as exam 2 is out of 60, it means a mark in exam 1 is more valuable than a mark in exam 2 and this has shown in the graded distributions (generally A+ cutoff is 36-37/40 for exam 1 but only 48-52/60 for Exam 2).

GA 1 (sacs) is 34%, GA2 (exam 1) is 33% and GA3 (exam 2) is 33%
as exam 1 and 2 scaling is the same, it is important to lose minimal marks in exam 1 and generally you should be fine with 5-8 marks in exam 2 for 40+
