Did people say that the 'poo' program was affordable? cause people had to pay money? Also, with the whole medicare/male situation.. did you have to say 2 specific services that males would use that are covered by medicare, or could it be general?
2012: HHD (45) and Hospitality (43)
2013: Biology, Further, Literature and Spanish
ATAR aim: 90+

Yeah certainly did since that was the question was asking... I just said that the leader had subsided the cost to make the affordable as the people have low income or hardly any at all to pay the full expenses of materials and for the toilets. Rather specific since it's asking for just males.

Wouldn't 10$ be too much for Papu New Guinea people as most of them live in poverty or have a low income wage?

Well they didn't need to pay money to listen to the poo song to be educated right?  :)
That's why it's affordable because the education was received for free from the song.

that's what i thought! I wrote how it is not affordable for everybody because it requires the $10 payment but i also mentionaed how materials and funding for a community leader were supplied, also for appropriateness did you guys mention how the song being in their local language made it appropriate? I can't remember what else i wrote other than that

It would be, as affordability must be free of charge to the people but this wasn't the case, but at least it wasn't like $100 or $200 as the leader covered the material costs so I have no choice to argue that point really

I wrote the song as being culturally sensitive due to being in it's local language so it is apart of appropriateness :)

You can argue that haha, I didn't really consider the song to put in my answers :(. But you can say that the song was free of charge to listen to and it didn't cost any money to produce the song itself.

Affordability goes way beyond just the initial price though: according to the text book, we had to look at (and a bit of my reasoning)

* Focus on education
* Affordable to the community in the long term? (1x $10 fee would be affordable in the long term)
* Does it respect cultural values?
* Does it empower people?
* Is it accessible? (The water source is accessible)

I was only to know that affordability was to equal money and making it cheaper or free of charge, nothing more than that. Like education, cultural values would fall under appropriateness for me and the other points I wouldn't mention..

Yeah, some of those points could be mentionable but I think $10 is no hassle lol. In the long term, don't have to pay anything so it should be fine. hope I go well on the exam. Think I will though, my teacher is an examiner so should know what to expect :)
