The test was actually pretty fair, all fairly doable.
Especially the last question, it was just performing the double angle formula for it.
Too bad, I did some stupid multiplicative error for it.
Instead of 3squareroot(63), i did total squareroot(189), lol.
Only mark I think I lost apart from maximum tension, what did it mean by that?
I had totally no clue...

1. It was 3 marks so I'm not sure, looks like there might be an allocation for specification of the values of n

2. I don't think you would lose a mark for it, it's still a proof by recognition of sorts. Besides there are ways to do the question without evaluating the dot product so I don't think they're looking for a particular method.

3. Can't tell you much about that haha

would cos(x)=0, for when x=pi.n/2 , where z is an element of z be accepted for question 2?

No, n can = 0, but x can't

If I got somewhere between 28-32 on the exam, (depending on mark allocation) what mark should I hope for in exam 2 to get somewhere around 33-35 study score?

Worst case: Say you got 28 for this exam (High B from 2010 distribution), you can lose 17 marks in paper 2, GIVEN that you get an A for sacs.  Then, you would get 35-36 without any problem!

Would get mid-high 60s to make sure you get over 35.

If you got 37/40 what would be the mark required in exam 2 for a 39-43.
Would it be close to full?

OH BOY. I really underestimated what I would remember on the day and I'm kicking myself now that I know how to do the many questions I stuffed up. It was a good wake up call that I need to revise what I learnt because I went from getting As a month ago to a probable B today. :( Oh well, now I'll hopefully revise enough for the A on monday.

Similar thing happened to me i stopped studying for spesh for 2 weeks before exam and then when i went in i thought i'd know it all but i realised that revision would have been a good idea

Yeah... I did 2011 last night (exam 2) and that didn't go extremely well but I'm already remembering stuff I had forgotten.
