I found most of it quite easy.
The last part of questions 9 and 10 were the only challenge for me.

I bombed ): Usually get around 30-34 but I'll be lucky to get 25 this time around. It's pretty disappointing, I screwed up the first question after splitting it into two parts not clicking that x/(x^2+1) is a log integral.

Screwed up Q3 even though my argand diagram is right (I even said 3 was a point in q3a) because I didn't think it was a all real question because z was an element of C... how rookie is that?

I couldn't get the value of the tension, if I had more time I would have been able to.

I wasn't able to get the speed, even though I had the right method, as I couldn't simplify the roots. I didn't do the derivative when t=1 question.

Sucked on the last two parts of the final question.

Pretty much if I didn't screw up the easy questions I would have been able to get 30 or so, but I screwed them up so will get less

Pretty much in the same boat. The Q.3 screwed me over cause it said the other two answers where in the form a+bi so I was so confused as to how we would get three solutions with i in them when it had all real coefficients, didn't even click that it could be 0i :|

i got pi-arccos((sqrt(6)-sqrt(2))/4) or something like that??

I got 7pi/12 for it. I just calculated cos(pi/3 + pi/4) and by sheer coincidence, it seemed to work. I'm not sure if there was a better method, though...

and arccos((sqrt(6) - sqrt(2)) / 4) = 5pi/12
So you get pi - 5pi/12 = 7pi/12

For question 2, I forgot the general solution for sin, so I wrote:
 x= pi/3 +- 2*pi*n and x= 2pi/3 +- 2*pi*n where n is ...,-1,0,1,.... Would I lose marks for this?

For the general solution, I said the right answer in terms of n, but I forgot to specify that n E Z. Will I lose a mark for that?

 x= pi/3 +- 2*pi*n and x= 2pi/3 +- 2*pi*n where n is ...,-1,0,1,.... Would I lose marks for this?
