Ha can't believe I didn't realise that, all those times writing out 'allocated on a logical basis' and didn't even appear ::)

Yeah it surprised me too that period/product costing wasn't on there.
It was on basically every single practice exam of Accounting in existence :P

Another thing which surprised me was the lack of questions about profitability and liquidity which were on there.
I kinda thought there would be more analysis of data, but I'm glad there wasn't cause analysis is strenuous!

well the main analysis was done in the 6 marker.. the ratio questions on the last page were pretty standard imo..

I agree, I think they were just fillers. If they really wanted to test us, they would have made us look at WCR, QAR and Cash Flow Cover to talk about liquidity.

Oh, another thing which was missing from this exam. Financial indicators, non-financial indicators and benchmarks!
The analysis of the Debtors Turnover was the main one I agree, but I just thought there'd be more.

I thought Question 3 was straight forward but very confusing. Im not sure who said it before, but to have a "paid" amount in an income statement is surely not a way to "test" students, its just a poorly formatted question, although not too hard.

just didn't think it was appropriate to put something 'paid' in the income statement.. should be in the cash flow statement imo.. that confused me a bit :P
