WAIT NO! 15 is D because you had to add energy for temp change to energy for conversion from liquid to gas :)

at time 30 seconds though. Since k IS GREATER THAN THE EQUILIBRIUM CONSTANT. shouldnt the reverse reaction be favoured? I got A aswell btw

If products > reactants, products are being formed faster. Therefore forward reaction must be faster than back reaction.

no the backwards reaction is faster because more Products will be converted into reactants therefore lowering the K value

question 9 is C im pretty sure...

We all agree that Q>K so there are much more products than there should be at equilibrium.

since rate is related to the amount of stuff, doesn't it mean that the rate of the back reaction is greater than that of the forward reaction, and hence C?

Reverse reaction should be favoured, but AS AT point C, forward reaction is being favoured.

i dont get it.
but if Q>K that means Q would have more products ([products]/[reactants])?
idk though so don't take my word for it
you're probs right

I disagree. Since we know that a net shift back MUST occur to reach equilibrium, and the mixture is in the process of doing so, The amount of products is decreasing, so rate of BACK is greater than rate of FORWARD in order for this to happen.

I may just be super blind atm though.

No because the system will always be moving towards equilibrium
