I hope someone asked for a copy of the exam so they can scan it for us!
If no one did then there's always VCEIT which will most likely have the exam copy + post-mortem commentary up within a couple up of days or so.

Don't worry guys. I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of the state had similar difficulties in regards to the normalization question.

felt the exam was pretty straightforward although everyone else in my class said it was extremely long and difficult...
Didn't really feel pushed for time, half way through I slowed down because timewise I was ahead.
That being said though the normalisation one was abit tough mainly because I could describe the differences between 2NF and 3NF very well, but on a whole I felt it was great. Easier than 2011 in my opinion.

What annoyed me was there was like close to nothing on information systems such as backups or disaster recovery plans etc. since I focused a lot of study remembering a lot of it.

What did people write for the Social Networking 4 mark question, the ethical dilemma question and for the design elements?

I agree it was quite strange that there was little to do on backups or disaster recovery plans. There's a discussion on the other thread about the social networking question (I dont know why there are two threads for the exam?)

For the ethical dilemma it should have had something to do with while it is not morally right to use the printing credit of other students, it would be expensive otherwise for her to print the assignments by herself.
However she should not use the credit and also advise Jack not to do the same, and encourage him to stop using the credit.
Design elements I'm a bit iffy on

I talked about how she should think if it's right to use stolen accounts which her friend has provided her for her own good, and when it asked for what she could do to resolve the issue, I talked about she should think about the consequences that her best friend might face and how it would affect their relationship as friends.

I dunno though this question seems like it could have many answers.

According to the SOM, the answer to question 12 is C rather than B, which doesn't really make any sense...

Sorry my mistake, it was question 13 that I meant.
