Last minute question!!

Ok I know how to determine the direction of the current in a generator, I just use the right hand slap rule for one side of the coil with the force in the direction opposite of the movement of the coil BUT, how would you go about explaining it. Inassume you can't explain what I did above, would you need to talk about opposing flux?

yea im pretty sure you have to state that the induced current will be in a direction such that its magnetic field opposes the change in flux.
