I can't remember the exact phrasing of the question but it goes something like this
Ac generator(1000Vrms )-------wire(7ohms)--------ac motor(18 ohms)

1 .Find current in wire
2 .Motor requires 900V rms to operate, will it operate properly?
3. 2 methods to reduce power loss

This is ok then.  From the information I got I thought   the question was targeting about the operation of a AC motor which is outside the study guide...

WOW ....I'M ACTUALLY TALKING TO THE OTHER GENIUS TOO..BTW I'D HAVE TO SAY THAT YOUR CHEMISTRY NOTES WERE REAAALY HELPFUL AS I WAS REVISING FOR THE EXAM...YOUR KNOWLEDGE ABOUT CHEM IS SOOO INSIGHTFUL :D
