English: Rank 1, U3 100/100, U4 100/100, probably 20/60 on the exam, ~22
Methods: Rank 1, U3 100/100, U4 100/100, probably Ds on both exams, ~19
Specialist: Rank 1, U3 100/100, U4 100/100, Probably full marks exam 2, 3/40 exam 1, ~31
Physics: Rank 2 , U3 99/100, U4 100/100, Full marks  both exams, ~32 (unit 3 sacs let me down)
Geography: Rank 1, U3 54/57, U4 19/35, Probably E+ on both exams, ~45

Was hoping for 99.95, but will probably get 27.35 which isn't bad
This is making me laugh so hard I can't stop hahahaha.

I'll do a maximum and minimum prediction, a week after finishing exams.

Min:
English - 46
Chemistry - 43
Methods - 38 (could be lower, I guess)
Media - 40
Politics - 40 (again, could be worse)
Literature - 39

ATAR: 98.00 (in 2011)

Fair to say I'd be really disappointed with this. Anything below 98 would be, on a personal level, not very nice, to put it mildly.

Max:
English: 50
Chemistry: 45
Methods: 42
Media: 48-50
Politics: 44
Literature: 39

ATAR: 99.60 (in 2011)

Again, I'd be disappointed with this just personally (I know this sounds really arrogant but it's just based off my own expectations right before exams and I do have quite high standards for myself, so I apologise if it annoys anyone), but as with anything above 99.00-99.10ish I'd be quite relieved as well. That being said, getting a 50 in anything would be absolutely amazing, it would just make my life! Just hoping for the best at this stage though (: Does anyone else sort of have that feeling that the number means very little at this stage? I feel like I've already received my result in a way, based upon how I felt coming out of the exams.

Maybe it's just because my course only required a 90.9 last year but the individual study scores are way more precious to me than the ATAR itself. I dunno.

i get what you mean, i don't have as high expectations as you do, but i know that my theatre studies and psychology score will mean the world to me. i feel that if i don't get 44+ with each, ill be very dissapointed. put basically all my hard work into each. Also the possibility of top class makes me so nervous! im more eager to find out if i got a invite to audition rather than the ATAR itself :/ tried so hard, i will be devastated if i don't achieve my goals  :(
what a year it has been, thank goodness it is over, bring on a new chapter!

Psychology- 46!
Theatre studies- 37
Biology- 35
English- 34
Further maths-33
ATAR-87.15 so pleased!

any questions related to Psychology or Theatre Studies please don't hesitate to ask :)

Following in Charmanderp's footsteps, now that I have had a little time to reflect and discuss with teachers:

Absolute minimum predictions
English: 43
Methods: 40
Biology: 41
Chemistry: 41
French: 32
Chinese (2011): 38
ATAR: 98.60

I'd be pretty cut with this, to be honest. Mainly because I won't make the Biomed clearly-in.

Absolute maximum predictions
English: 50
Methods: 43
Biology: 44
Chemistry: 44
French: 36
Chinese (2011): 38
ATAR: 99.60

I would honestly cry if I got this. But this is just wishful thinking.

Realistic estimate:
English: 46-47
Methods: 42
Biology: 42
Chemistry: 42
French: 35
Chinese (2011): 38
ATAR: 99.10-99.20

If it's 99.20, then that's the same ATAR as my sister, who I've vowed to beat. Hopefully I can just clinch past it by +0.05. :P
2012 ATAR: 99.20
2013-2015: Bachelor of Biomedicine (Microbiology/Immunology: Infections and Immunity) at The University of Melbourne
2016-2019: Doctor of Medicine (MD4) at The University of Melbourne

This probably comes across as unnecessarily pessimistic, but just be wary that a 46 in any subject as a predicted minimum is always dangerous (unless you literally know the exam answers and what you wrote :p).  With English in particular, there are always factors which could go wrong, including dud examiners, examiners who just don't like your style, or even just sheer bad luck.  And speaking as someone who was also aiming for a 50 in English in particular, I think something in the low 40s - even for a top level student - is generally going to be the highest "low" study score you can ever predict.  A 46 is harder and more random to obtain than people think; you just never, ever know.

(this is not to say that I doubt you'll probably get 46-50, because from the looks of it you should - just don't be too overconfident in your predictions I guess is my point :p)

Oh yes believe me, I'm perfectly prepared to get like a 40 in English. I wrote a poem/short story/essay fusion piece for Section B which I honestly would not be surprised to get a 5 for :P It's just that I've compensated for the 46 in English by being slightly over pessimistic for my other subjects, in order to get a balanced ATAR score. It makes no sense, I know. It's probably more of a minimum 'what I'd be not totally devastated with' prediction rather than a minimum 'what I could hypothetically get' prediction. And I did want to retain some element of optimism :P

Like I said I don't really feel uncomfortable with getting drastically lower than overconfident predictions because the actual score doesn't mean so much to me as the effort that was involved all year. But yeah. I shall stop rambling.

(Y) Sounds legit - I completely understand that irrational thing of doing certain scores for the sake of predictions that you don't necessarily believe in.  May the force be with you - I'm sure things will work out awesomely for you :)
