Hi guys!
Had a question:
What is  a "secondary solution"? I've been looking a few text books , but Im getting confused on what it means (ie. Nelson) in relation to  primary and standard/
I know a primary solution is a solution which can be measured easily and the solution doesn't react with environment(ie.CO2),etc, while a standard solution is that in which the concentration is known.

Thankyou!!

A standard solution is a solution of accurately known concentration.
A primary standard is a substance that is readily obtained in a pure form, has a known formula and can be stored without deteriorating or reacting with the atmosphere. It should also be cheap and have a high molar mass.

For secondary Solution -- A solution that has been titrated against a primary standard solution.

As everyone will tell you "there's no such thing as a dumb question."

It's still a concept I can't grasp though haha.
