They'll probably call later and if not, they'll mail whatever it is to you anyway. To be safe, best to stay in the house till 9am-10am or so for those scholarship calls. But it should come in the mail anyway.

Exactly, you will definitely get something in the mail a few days later if you get anything, you won't always get a call though, I got a sms for mine.

So the website is saying I should log on "using [my] student number and PIN".
My school hasn't e-mailed me back yet, so well .. how can I potentially find out my student number and what would my pin be?
I don't have any VTAC number cause I didn't apply for uni in australia

Call your school - they'll tell you.

Your PIN is your date of birth, e.g. 4th of Jan would be 0401

Is your ATAR and subject scores the first thing you see after logging in, or can you then click different links to see these separately. I don't want to see my ATAR straight away... hahaha :S

- View Study Scores

- View ATAR


If you wanna see study scores first, go to "View Study Scores" - ATAR is not there.

Long story short.

If you are National Scholarship standard (99.90, 99.95) you will be contacted by both UoM and Monash.
Furthermore, if you are a high achiever, but ATAR < 99.90, you will be contacted by Monash who offer a range of other scholarships.
Else, you will have to wait until January for your offer.

Note: the above applies to straight up applicants, i.e no SEAS etc, there may well be different procedures for such applicants which I am not familiar with

How high does your ATAR have to be do you think? Cause I'm going away for the day tomorrow so I need to know whether I need to have my phone on me all the time.

UoM and Monash National Scholarship : 99.90 - 99.95
Monash Excellence Scholarship : 98.00 - 99.85

Mind you, Monash only offers 40 scholarships of excellence, so I think that you'd have to be high 99 to get the scholarship.
