i cant get into my dream course with my ATAR but will this method work?

...Ok so i got a lousy 66.40..NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
and Biomedical Engineering at RMIT was 72.32 so this is what im thinking..

- undergo engineering-alternative entry (i didnt do methods) at VU
- if i get high enough credit points i can switch to any engineering course at VU (im thinking civil engineering)
- Continue this degree until i get high enough credit points and transfer my Biomedical Engineering course at RMIT!

will this work, i mean they're seperate degrees but they're both engineering so.......

*sigh*..66.40 i cant believe it....
