How does the GAT work in terms of derived examination scores? Had I got a derived examination score with a 50 GAT in the maths section would my Methods SS be higher? or about the same

No unfortunately you need higher scores in written communication and humanities/arts/social sciences so i'd say your chances are very low. sorry man only the very best of the best get premier's awards the competition is extremely high especially in something as prestigious as the GAT.

No worries, you can use that GAT preparation material for tutoring.
I heard you were tutoring for the GAT next year right? Was it $50.00 an hour with 50 students at a time in a three hour continuous sessions?

(Yes, this is a joke).

I hear to get premiers in gat you need 3 50s, as it is much more competitive than vce :P

Yes that is the starting price (Don't worry if it seems a bit excessive, you also get free notes, specialized 'GAT dictionary' and other GAT specific stationary). Be warned, my GAT tutoring is very intense, unlike anything else in VCE, and for good reason too.
