I'm sure we have more than a few photographers among us and a thread seems sorely missing, so here it is!
There's no real rules or anything, just try keep it under a
few thousand photos in a single post, under 5 is probably a good idea for those out there who don't have super-awesome internet plans. I'm keeping my images at or around
1024 x 768 and aiming for them to be under
~400kb if i can, just as a good general guide.
It doesn't need to be something you made yourself (that makes it all the more awesome though), long as its some kind of visual art. It can be a cool piece you found somewhere else, that's fine.
I'll start us off, since its the festive season, i thought i'd start us off with something with a lot of bright and colourful lights. I'm a very visual person (anyone else out there?), so, hopefully this thread becomes drool-worthy. I don't have a DSLR or any fancy equipment (or even a tripod) so its all the more a challenge for me to be innovative, so, excuse the odd blur or image noise you might not get with other kinds of cameras. As you can probably tell, i really like lights, the evening and really long exposures.
