Hey guys,
held by Monash University in Clayton by the IT faculty, there is an event called CGBC each year.
This event allows
students from years 9 - 12 and TAFE to: showcase their works related to video games/technology and receive awards for their works, participate in video gaming tournaments, workshops, presentations and an opportunity to cosplay

. This is all tailored to the teenage students who are interested in IT.
Most students attend this event because of the competitions and prizes held for video games, and various companies attend this event to advertise to the high school audience, e.g. Sony, Thermaltake, Dungeon Crawl, etc.
CGBC is held around July, usually over the course of a week filled with activities.
This event allows students to gain access to career workshops ranging from games development, computer science, professional gaming, etc.
For those who are interested in some form of IT, there is a wide range of opportunities for students to explore their options for the future!
Computer Games Boot Camp doesn't require anything more than your signature and school/TAFE approval because the event is held
free of charge, and students in year 10 may also attend this event on work experience.
I guess I'm advertising this to you guys because next year will be my last year of High School, and I'll look forward to see you there.
