I'll be glad to finish but I'll also be sad to see it go.
People who I know who have done year 12 have said to me how you form really good relationships with people in your year level you never knew that well before and how your relationships with your teachers are less "teacher-student" and more "peer-like" and I'm starting to see these things happening in my dealings at school. I think I'm going to miss this. Like in the past few weeks especially, I've sought out more one-on-one help from my teachers and it's made me realise how much they're actually willing to do to help you out so you get the most out of the year. And also how good they are just to have a chat to about things that you might not talk about with your family because they're not sharing the experience of VCE with you as much as your teachers are, so teachers understand a bit more  :)

Definitely feel like I'm ready for something new though, but I've been in a really positive mindset lately and I'm more keen than ever to stick it to VCAA and give VCE all I've got.

Does a 92.5/100 for unit three sacs for Chem count as an A+ for GA1 Or an A?

It's impossible to know as sac results are scaled depending on exam results and the grade ranges change depending on the cohort year to year.

92.5% for chem though is pretty good if your school makes reasonably difficult SACs.

should be an A+, but depends on the scaling as chasej has said.
Could go up to 99/100 or even down to a 85/100. It all depends on how your school's chem cohort performs on the chem exam (and GAT)

my cohort is actually pretty bad. there are literally 9 people in my chem class, 3 of which are the high scorers. the rest are averaging 60-70 and less. ahh i guess it might scale down then hahah

stay at rank 1 and do well on the exam/GAT and it won't scale down.
Good luck!

If the top 3 do well on the exam and sac then you're SAC result would stay in the range of those 3 high performers. VCAA doesn't work out the average exam score and scale all the SACs down to that, but rather tries to essentially match the graph of SAC results to the one from exam results in your class so the good students get the level they have achieved applied to their SAC result and the same for the not-so-good students. Hard to explain but being in a bad cohort doesn't disadvantage you if you and the other top students perform well.

Not going to lie, starting to get frustrated by this 'ranking' system.

Seems so competitive

Got my Further SAC back today for Core (finally)- 35/40 which is fine for me because I don't really have an aim of where I want to be for Further, haha. Few silly mistakes but I'm still happy.

Also got my English Context SAC back for Whose Reality. I went pretty well, definitely some room for improvement but given I don't particularly enjoy writing Context pieces I was happy.

Lit and Bio SACs on Friday, which will see the end of Unit 3 for both subjects!
