yeah i'm not really enjoying some of my subjects, which is making year 12 a lot more draining. unfortunately our school kinda sucks in terms of offering subjects
i'm hoping to make up for an extremely lazy unit three by going HAM for unit four. my marks have been pretty good so far, but i'm so far behind i'm barely hanging on hahah. if you've noticed i've been away in bio a bit recently, it's mostly cos i hadn't done the homework and stayed home to avoid her wrath
but yeah these holidays i'm gonna try work ahead, so i can make sure i don't fall behind again. as long as the world cup doesn't get in the way (it totally will)i'm gonna agree with these, except i reckon japan vs. ivory coast will end up a draw. still pegging germany to win the cup
either that or ireland will win, but krum will catch the snitch
Yeah it does suck with schools like ours not offering a range of subjects that would allow students to achieve their potential. Bio is the one subject I chose because there was nothing else, I do find it quite interesting but it is pretty draining yeah?
Hahahahah yes, she actually gave a massive lecture about the class performance on the practice exam, the highest mark was 59% (I got 54).
I'm sure you'll be fine, if your marks are good then you aren't that far behind. I can imagine if you get ahead you'll really ace all your sacs

Yes, thanks for the advice.
I will try and be even more active to study smarter and not harder in Unit 4.
chasej explained it beautifully. It is essentially pointless to go through endless amounts of practice sacs if you aren't taking into consideration what you're doing wrong. Writing notes, completing a hundred practice exams and reading the textbook is pretty much a waste of time, yet many adopt these study methods. From my first legal sac to the last, I've improved every time because I've learnt how to answer questions correctly and I've learnt how to manage my time when writing responses. For English, I always get the teacher to mark my essays, and then I redo them and get them to mark the same essay again, this way I actually correct my mistakes and start to improve. Don't be so bummed about sac results, they are perfect for allowing you to work towards improvement until the end-of-year exam.
