I think they came out yesterday! http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/Pages/vce/exams/examcovers/index.aspx
How accurate are the cover sheets, in terms of question numbers? Apparently they can change it but never do.

12 questions for Accounting.

Wat.
2013 : Philosophy (31) | VCE VET Hospitality (Kitchen Operations) (31)

2014 : Food Tech (40) | Accounting (35) | Art (39) | Visual Communication Design (40) | English (38) [hopefully!!]

Does anyone know if one can write beyond the lines provided but stay within the page border (if possible) without going to the extra space section?

I have acquired various responses from both VCAA and teachers.

VCAA has basically told me that it is highly recommended to stay within the lines so that this can be cross-marked with others (missing my point about staying within the page border). Also students tend to cram answers in, but if I can write beyond the page border (if possible) from time to time, than this should not be an issue.

Does anyone actually know the answer?

It depends whether in your subject, your examiner actually gets the physical booklet.
It varies across subjects. For example, I know Legal is definitely given as a physical booklet so examiners will read things outside the lines. But for subjects where pages are scanned - they won't read it (eg. Psychology).

For those subjects, they will have clearly defined borders like DO NOT WRITE OUTSIDE OF THIS or something

Eg. http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/Documents/exams/psychology/2013/2013psych-w.pdf

So yeah, if your exam doesn't have the DO NOT WRITE OUTSIDE thing, you should be fine going over. But it gets a bit messy I guess.

Havent even finished my bound references yet, and I have two to do  :'(
Ooh... I had to do two as well. I had mine bound over a month ago now with extra blank pages, so I could have time to fix it.
Tip for any lurking future Math students: Write your notes on a separate book so you don't have this issue. It takes two minutes to rip out a cover and staples, cut open the pages and head out of the house. It will cost you less time and less ink.

Thinking of hijacking Monash Library for SWOTVAC, gotta admit. I live pretty close to the Penisula campus; do you think they'd notice I'm not a uni student? :P
Nope. Not unless you go nicking their books or make a ruckus, which I'm sure you wouldn't do.
I don't really think they care much, as long as you pay them as much respect as you would to your school library.

Does anyone know if one can write beyond the lines provided but stay within the page border (if possible) without going to the extra space section?
LOTE Languages are very particular of which section you write in. The column/ space is labelled specifically for note-taking.
Be careful.

I think that just makes us better at procrastinating  :'(
Yeah. Or it might just make us look more 'social'. Either way, it means we love using AN. *AN pride*

I just got back from the VATE revision thing for Lit.
I then went out for afternoon tea with my friend afterwards who came with me.
Not really sure whether I want to do any more study now
Haha... that's me every time I leave the house for something not VCE-related.
I was there for the English Language stuff earlier today, but couldn't stay due to other commitments. (Still VCE-related, don't you worry.) It got me back on track and determined again. Free motivation session out of it. Yay!
Was anyone in Session 2c. (Eng Lang) for the VATE lecture today?

I feel you. I need a relatively high ATAR and I'm literally just chilling everyday. Doing anything but studying, hell, I didn't even pick up a pen in the 2 week break we had. I felt that there's so much options into my course I don't even need a high ATAR anyway. Haha I know it is a bad mentality to have and I need to change it now and get some motivation.
^ This was me in the holidays. Now I'm just a non-studying, guilt-ridden, headless chicken running around in circles.
Well... not literally though. (Although that does conjure an amusing image!)

What sort of 'Celebration Day' *cough* Muck Up Day. *cough* pranks are you all pulling?
Or has your school 'toned it down'? Anyone got ideas?

     Intimidating,
But know that they mean little:
     VCE exams.

     But a chance to find
One path in a path-filled world:
     VCE exams.

     What is VCE?
Very Commonplace Exams -
     They don’t define you.

Beautiful, Joseph41. (Haiku, for the win!)
I got the message. Thank you. Actually, the headless chicken from my last post is an in-joke. I should have mentioned this before, but it seemed misplaced.

    Good luck to students.
   It will not be a long time;
    Make this year the best.

Yeah, I know it's not great.

Thorium: Ouch. That really sucks.

We have a breakfast on Celebration Day with our homerooms and homeroom teachers.
My Food Tech teacher from last year is organising the food and the menu looks amazing.

We dress up in costumes too and have a final year level assembly and then go home. If we pull pranks we don't get to go to valedictory.

i'd pull as many pranks as possible tbh.

If we do that at my school, it's no end of year exams.
