Swotvac is living up to the roller coaster Year 12 has previously proved itself to be. Yesterday I felt extremely productive, doing an English exam (how does anyone, let alone me, sit down and write 3 essays in 3 hours?) and a Maths, as well as dates and historian revish for Revs.

Today I went into school for a meeting with my English teacher which lasted about 20 minutes and decided that was plenty of work for one day... Got home. Had a nap. Sorted through essays according to their themes. Had another nap (why so tired?). Am now rewatching HIMYM. Ooops.

English only 8 sleeps away. Slightly worrying.

I did not need reminding of this..

I got back the English practice exam I did last Tuesday today. Worst mark for Text Response (7/10), but to be fair I did choose a topic that I was not as comfortable with because I'm doing The Reluctant Fundamentalist and I think being the last year on the list, VCAA will most likely throw a curveball at us!

There's open day at my school tomorrow, so Year 12s are not allowed on campus at all. Tomorrow I shall do the following:
  • write a comparative analysis for English
  • Do a HHD practice exam
  • play around with some passages for my weaker Lit text
  • Do a further multiple choice paper
  • do a further short answer paper
  • go over hominin evolution for Bio

I'm seriously not looking forward to Bio next week. I feel like I'm going backwards and that I do not know all that much at all. Slightly concerning given that the course I want to do next year is heavily based on anatomy and physiology. But to be fair, I'm actually quite good at understanding body function and stuff like that. I just have minimal interest in pretty much the rest of the Biology course.

Maybe say something like, "I'm not trying to be demanding, but I was just wondering why you haven't got around to giving me any feedback on any of my pieces yet?"

Maybe; I'm trying to think of how to phrase it well so I'm not pestering her.

You look (looked?) so nice! Now to wait for mine...
R & R is still necessary to function as living human beings, even during exams.  :)

Aw, thank you! :) (Looked, hahaha, it was last night).

I feel you; been watching Legally Blonde and Legally Blonde: The Musical all day. Uhhhh, there may be a theme here >.>

At walkec - holy crap, how is 7 a bad mark?? O.o I got 7.5 on my practice exam and I was absolutely thrilled!!

I'm not saying it is a bad mark - it's just lower than what I have been getting (8.5-10s)

My teacher said she would give us an "Emergency exam study pack" today and I thought it would be heaps of practice exams and notes. But when we opened it, it was actually a pack full of chocolates and small toys. She said this would reduce our stress in case of emergency exam dates.... I think I'm gonna miss y12 a lot  :'(

REALLY scared for english. Definitely more unprepared than I ever expected. Just going to put my to do list up here for some extra motivation (to force myself to finish it).
- Memorise quotes for TRF
- Write a language analysis
- Finish a HHD exam and look over WHO
- Do a chemistry exam
- Do a methods exam 2
- Do pilates and go for a run
Going to be a busy busy day. What are your plans?

Yeah same - think I'm just going to go full on English exam prep until English. I'll utilise that weel before methods exclusively for methods. Then 4 days for chem and physics will hopefully be fine. Time is just flying!

Pretty productive day: Did 2 english essays (much to my disgust, second one ended up being 700 words :( ). Did 2 physics papers, then a methods exam 2 and now doing some further revision aswell as Revs revision. Feeelin much more confident than I was yesterday.

Honestly don't like nutrition, VicHealth and all the programs we have to know for both units 3 and 4.
