I'm very angry and annoyed because I've been going well in Accounting all year and it comes to the exams and I'm barely managing to hit a 70 >:[ I've done over 12 now and my scores aren't improving; I'm keeping all the questions I got wrong in a document with the answers and reviewing them, but it's not seeming to help. Anyone got any tips?

70% or 70/90?

Well where are you dropping marks? Is it on the 6 marker discussion questions on profitability or practical components? If it's the latter, try identify your weaknesses and go back to the textbook exercises for those specific questions. There's no point trying to consolidate your understanding on a practical component that isn't your strong suit by doing excessive amounts of exams. Nonetheless, there's still heaps of time for improvement :)
2014 ATAR: [99.20]

70%.

It's like, on every theory question, I can prepare reports and journals fine, but as soon as it comes to theory I'm royally screwed. And I'm a bit worried about it, because I don't have time to summarize the entire textbook. D:

I did nothing today again but I think it's cause my dad is home so I get easily distracted. Although banning myself from websites has worked pretty well. I think I'll start study tomorrow for legal and try get as much done by Friday as possible.

Methods people - is the derivative of the modulus function part of our course or not ? Because I'm doing the 2009 VCAA exam and there's a question about it and I don't know if it's still relevant or not. Could someone please help me ?

^ Yup

Split the modulus |x| into x, x>0
                                        -x, x<0

And take the derivatives of each part from there
