Hey guys just for SEAS, I submitted some documents that provided evidence for my SEAS application. I did it a couple of days before the SEAS closing date, but never received any confirmation that my SEAS application was fully accepted OR evidence documents were received.

Has anyone else experienced similar things? Are we supposed to receive any confirmation?

Thanks
Exactly the same as me. Mine got there at 4:55 on the closing date haha, but never got confirmation. Apparently some people do though. I'm just hoping that it's all fine...

I've heard from a couple of people that their official confirmation never came through, but when they called VTAC they were told everything was fine and their system was just a little broken. If you're worried then it might be worth calling them now (ie. before the 15th) since I doubt you'll get through in the post-results frenzy.
If you've documented everything and sent it all in, then you should be fine though.

Also, don't panic about weird brochures/emails/ads from unis you haven't applied to. Around this time last year I was offered a scholarship to the TAFE Institute of Massage.
^Not my no. 1 preference, for the record.

I didn't get any confirmation either.

I also got the letter from RMIT, as well as some weird 3D card thing from ACU and ages ago some cards with emojis retelling the plot of the english novels

How are you guys going to actually open them? Like if you're getting the text/website, will you check it asap on the day? Or will you wait a while then do it? Or go somewhere peaceful like I'm hoping and then do it... The possibilities are endless
Idk. Last year I stayed up all night and was refreshing the website for an hour beforehand. I registered for the text this year but they usually come later so I'll probably just be on the website at 7am and then ring my friends and cry

Also, does anyone know whether we have to pay extra to reorder our preferences now?

All I've got is a pair of eye shades from Monash saying "busy relaxing", haha.

Haha, me too! :)

Yes, this is exactly what happened to me. They said as long as you send those documents, they should receive them and takes a while for them to process through all that.
You should be fine, Rod.  :)

No we don't need to pay for that.

Don't think I recall ever finding a cost associated with reordering them at this stage...  part of the whole changing-them-period that they gave a name for.

Seven days, then our entire year's really over.  The waiting period and release of our ATARs...

Expecting an ATAR between 40 and 60.

Change of preference is what they call it.  :)

You send VTAC a message through the website and ask them if they received the documents, I asked them and they said all OK, they just have a stuffed up website this year.

I remember i was really curious to know whether VTAC has received the hardcopy evidence and i've read on the forums that there is a  time stamp in which they post on the SEAS application page: "Most recent date documentation add: <date and time>". That page is inaccessible now but i think that was the indicator of whether they received it or not.

Hello Rod, exactly the same scenario for me.  I sent in 2 days prior to close off date.   I emailed VTAC and they confirmed the following:

VTAC has processed and uploaded all your SEAS and Scholarship documents on October 13. Unfortunately there are no online alerts regarding uploaded paperwork at the moment, but we are happy to confirm whether we have received/uploaded the documents through email or by phone.
Regards,
VTAC Customer Service Team
I then phoned them just to be certain and they confirmed.

Do you know when/if we find out if SEAS application was actually successful?
