I bet you will end up doing much better than you think! Everyone catastrophises the most minor setbacks during year twelve. And even if your ranking isn't what you expected, there is always the hope that your cohort is really strong and your marks will get scaled up anyway! (:

Our school doesn't because you can't really determine your GA score, these are RAW scores that we all have. They could scale down, stay the same or scale up.
2013-2014:| VCE
2015-2018:| Bachelor of Science (Neuroscience) @ UoM
2019-X:| Doctor of Dental Surgery (discontinued)
2019 -2021:| Master of Physiotherapy

Currently: Physiotherapist working at a musculoskeletal clinic. Back pain, sore neck, headaches or any other pain limiting your study? Give me a PM (although please do see your personal health professional first!)

Any questions related to pathways towards studying dentistry or physiotherapy? Gimmi a PM!

Our statement of results does come with a disclaimer in fine print at the bottom saying that GA1 results should be taken as a guide only and that VCAA hold the ability to scale scores accordingly across the entire year level.

I realise my results will change from what we are given now, but being the competitive person i am, i like knowing i am sitting in rank 1 and by what margin.

Fun Fact!
I just borrowed a study guide from my school library. The last time it was borrowed before me was when we were all in primary school, 7 years ago.

It made me think back, and it's crazy how fast time has gone and we are taking our final steps in our high school journey now - so let's make it count!

Just a few short months to go.

(Image removed from quote.)
(a due date in 2007... it's not like the study design has changed that much... )

Just had a timed English practice SAC after school on Stasiland. I now know that I can be very comfortable with ideas but have trouble expressing them in writing  :(

My teacher is encouraging us to move away from TEEL which I was excited for because we do this in Literature, but I think it's sort of different to how and what I expected it to be like. Oh well, I'm home now and I'm glad it's over. I always sort of feel like this with first practice SACs for English, and then I do a couple more and I improve a lot  :) Only problem is my SAC's on Tuesday, so I'll only be able to get my teacher's feedback on one more piece before the SAC. Anyone up for giving me some feedback over the weekend then?

Ended up finishing lit with 80/100.
Considering I do minimal work and no practice essays I'm so happy with that score (I put way more effort/am better at English Language.)

Finished the last of my unit 3 sacs today. So relieved!

Haven't been on ATAR Notes for a while now.

But, YAY! Finished all Unit 3 SACs! Let's all go smash those unit 4 SACs and the exams!  ;D

Great job to everyone! Let's all study smarter and improve next semester! :)

Finished my comparative language analysis today! Considering I was one of the few (like 3 people) who actually finished, I'm happy. The three articles were long, and time was a real pain!

Got the marks back for mine today. Got a "very good" which is either a 7 or an 8. They're such a pain, I'm so glad I did alright in it as I really needed something to boost my rankings up for U3 English, seeing as I virtually almost failed one of the SACs.
