I'm thinking of four preferences at the moment:

• Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery at Monash University
• Bachelor of Biomedicine at University of Melbourne
• Bachelor of Dentistry at La Trobe University
• Bachelor of Science at University of Melbourne

Bachelor of dentistry and bachelor of medicine both require 99+ yeah?
2014: VCE completed
2015-2017: BSc at Melb Uni

DREAM, BELIEVE, ACHIEVE!!!

Wow, that's pretty good :).

I still have no idea what my preferences are going to be haha. Thinking most likely bachelor of science at Melbourne or biomedical science at Monash.

Can't wait for the open days
2013-2014:| VCE
2015-2018:| Bachelor of Science (Neuroscience) @ UoM
2019-X:| Doctor of Dental Surgery (discontinued)
2019 -2021:| Master of Physiotherapy

Currently: Physiotherapist working at a musculoskeletal clinic. Back pain, sore neck, headaches or any other pain limiting your study? Give me a PM (although please do see your personal health professional first!)

Any questions related to pathways towards studying dentistry or physiotherapy? Gimmi a PM!

Is it ok to select say in excess of 10 courses, if you are genuinely interested in them no matter the ATAR?

I get teased heaps by my friends for looking up so many courses, but the fact is I need several options as anything can happen on a SAC or Exam day!!

Those are amazing courses! I am hopeless at science and maths, hence why I only do one of those type of subjects. I am interested in physics and psychology but more so in a philosophical sense...

If humanities didn't exist, I'd be out on the streets...

These are my preferences as well... but if yr 12 doesn't work out for me, I'm thinking of biomedicine at la trobe with a much more achievable atar of 75

I have no idea what I want to do aside from Commerce/Arts :( So far I'm thinking:

  • Commerce/Arts at ACU
  • Arts at Monash (if I get in - 2nd because I'm not a fan of bigger universities)
  • Commerce/BusAdmin at ACU OR Commerce/Arts at Deakin

And like, that's it. D; Any course suggestions? I'm taking Arts because it's interesting and Commerce because it's what I want to do in life (management/accounting, something along those areas - and I'm hoping to major in Sociology for Arts, fyi)
2013 : Philosophy (31) | VCE VET Hospitality (Kitchen Operations) (31)

2014 : Food Tech (40) | Accounting (35) | Art (39) | Visual Communication Design (40) | English (38) [hopefully!!]

I just made a countdown for how many days until the English exam in my diary. As of tomorrow, there are 108 days (including weekends) until the English exam. This means that there are 117 days in total until I am finished with high school.

This term is going to be huge, but bring it on  ;D . I figure there's no point getting anxious about how fast exams are approaching, because if you're worried about that, then you're going to miss all the extra things going on and not enjoy them as much. Can not wait until I am finished with school!  :D

And marsbareater12, were you at the ACU experience day on Tuesday?

Haha I know I really shouldn't ask this.. but what have you guys accomplished, in terms of school work, these school holidays?

I worked really hard during the first week and kind of crashed during the second week so basically I got nothing done this week :S

Also has anyone started actual exam revision (eg. VCAA questions) for any of their subjects yet? My only excuse for not doing it is because I don't have an access to a printer to print prac exams lol.

I think I've done well these holidays actually. I've almost finished the methods course (just finishing inverse normals atm), written a few language analyses and context pieces, and a couple of diagnostic tests and unit three exams for biology and chemistry. I need to rewrite my methods summary book though. Also, do you guys recommend to complete my study guides for methods (A+ notes etc) before starting practise exams or after? Also, I haven't studied ahead for chem because I have a sac first day back on equilibrium and stuff (involving Fe(SCN)^2+ or something). But yeah, all is good so far. Just gotta make sure I cement my knowledge of unit three whilst learning unit four stuff too!
