Chemistry just makes me want to commit suicide *cries*

I am actually so tempted to just leave this subject altogether -.-
Work doesn't even pay off, like why even bother..fml

Does anyone know what kind of exam mark you need to be able to get a 20 in chem ?

Haha I can field this. I didn't complete one proper practice exam for chemistry last year  (as my extension subject) and really didn't do much. I ended up getting a 28 - scaled to 32. I'm pretty sure I was still playing video games like 8 hours a day until a week before my exam

edit: I thought you said preparation for some reason; got no clue how I went on the exam however I do remember I left a fair amount of questions

Oral exam is over (: apparently they weren't supposed to ask about family this year but mine did.  Now I have to catch up on all of the work I was putting off because of this ^^

hey guys, anyone who applied for SEAS, how do you know VTAC has received your supporting documents? Is "most recent documentation added: <date>" under the SEAS application tab means VTAC received your docs??? Someone confirm?

My Indonesian oral one is next Tuesday :( Also, my detailed study is Climate Change. Sooooo unpredictable. Plus I find they ask you the randomest thing for general convo. Had a practice run with two external assessors, I mentioned at the start I went to Kenya as a volunteer. They spent 6 minutes asking me about Kenya o_O -> since when was describing why Kenya was like a desert applicable at all?  :S

All this on top of exam revision :(

Cheers Reus! I was worried all this time and actually thought of handing another copy to my careers coordinator to drop off to VTAC, phew.
Edit: I just realised the CRN i provided online is not mine but my parents? BUT i have also sent hard copy evidence of parents receiving FTB and indicated the relationships and all that, so is that all good?

It was okay. They didn't ask the questions I thought they would and sort of jumped through topics. I had one really nice assessor but one who wasn't that nice :/

Congratz! How did Detailed Topic go for you? And where did you hear that they couldn't ask about family?o.O

Apparently they can but were advised to change topic if the student looked uncomfortable. One assessor talked over me and didn't let me lead the conversation like I wanted to but it went fairly well

Btw, did anyone do NEAP 2014 Chem Trial Exam Unit 3/4? What is your opinion of it and how did your results go?
