I had my validictory dinner last night, and I cant believe that i got the academic award for english! Thats it, I am gonna substitute bachelor of engineering with arts in my preference. Plus I am planning to get the premier's award for english.

But no, science for life :p

2014: English (AL) | Methods | Physics | Specialist
ATAR: 96.70

No one here is allowed to complain about their eng teachers.. I was just reading over an essay that my friend's teacher wrote.. he didn't even include the exact quotes (just wrote 'that quote about innocence) and wrote the wrong title for a poem.. lolololol <_< >_>

I am actually really liking SWOTVAC.

My morning so far:
- A Lit passage analysis for my weaker text
- 45 minutes re reading bits of The Reluctant Fundamentalist I don't understand
- 45 minutes of HHD questions.

And it's only 11am.

I'm about to go into school for the rest of the day. I'm going to a Bio revision class on Immunity, then doing some more HHD questions and then I have an after school class for Lit for the text I'm feeling less comfortable about. When I get home I'm going to plan a few English topics and do at least two modules for short answer for Further.

Hope everyone is having a good day - make sure you take a break and get outside and enjoy this awesome weather!

I'm actually doing just English from now till the exam is over. I've read over some of my context pieces, and now going over language analysis phrases to use, and reading through some essays for structure, etc. After this, I plan to revise text response, then go back to reviewing context. May do VCAA 2010 LA tonight. :) happy studying everyone!

I thought 2010 was quite nice actually! The 2011 one was definitely the worse for me.

It was just all about biodiversity and it wasn't something I could relate to. I hated it so much. I know you don't really need to relate to an article to do well but I find interesting articles are where my marks peak for LA.

Almost finished a legal exam. I've done more this morning than I did all day yesterday. Library is definitely where it's at.

I kinda like it when Idc about the issue of the LA.. means that I don't become interested in actually reading about the issue and more focused on identifying language lololol

I just found it really boring. I kept walking away from it and it took me probably 2 hours to write a response because I couldn't be bothered with it. The 2012 one I liked because the speaker or whatever it was seemed really passionate about it and it came across in his writing. With the biodiversity it just seemed like he was complaining ... I get too emotionally involved :P

I think with the exam I'm just going to wing the three sections, hoping I have some flash of brilliance. So sick of studying, the only way I'm studying now is just by watching my context movies.

Sorry to bother you all with my study score prediction stuff, but last time ever i promise.
English: cohort is weak to moderate, 70 students. Rank: not so sure now but definitely NOT near the top.
GA1: 70/100
GA2: 65/100
GA3: 30/60(worst case scenario)
What am i looking at?
Thankyou!!

I have a question too about Study Score prediction for english =)

Strong cohort, top 50 school.I'd probably be ranked a little below average due to doing really bad on a few sacs.
67/100 GA1
76/100 GA2
42/60 GA3
