Okay, seriously, why isn't my chemistry study helping? I've done 14 chemistry exams and it haven't improved my marks at all. I'm seriously concerned and beginning to think studying isn't worth it.

Focus on what your areas of weakness are, not the marks you score on practice exams.

Random question but in a language analysis, are we allowed to use "us"? e.g Lee targets us to.... ?
Because in the 2010 assesors report, the upper range response used "us" so im a bit confused
2014: VCE completed
2015-2017: BSc at Melb Uni

DREAM, BELIEVE, ACHIEVE!!!

I've been told to steer away from that and say the audience/readers instead of us.

There are no rules in English. I suppose you may disrupt the sophistication if you do, but sometimes it just works. I love using readership, or in a speech audience, viewers, attendees.

I'm not using texts, but I'm using examples of different Aboriginal people and their experiences
Pls do not send me a pm about Aspire applications. The process has vastly changed since I applied.

I'm feeling pretty tired now. I just did a further paper.
I was going to do a bio paper too but I think I might just chill out and watch old Offspring episodes, haha.

omfg I swear so many people are doing Aboriginal identity, I'm really worried that by the time the assessors get to my piece they'll be all 'oh great yet another exploration of the relationship between land, cultural identity and belonging' :/ Does yours incorporate the homelands movements/the government's policy towards Indigenous communities, because if it does I think I'll cry

The Mind of a Thief basically details exactly this anyway so the moment that you speak about Aboriginals etc you'll be competing with kids doing Mind. In a way.

Haha no it doesn't! I mean, sometimes I talk about the Stolen Generations and stuff, but I also talk about the traditional art, Nicky Winmar, Adam Goodes and Nova Peris.
