Hmm probly u need to know what AC and DC are...

And then maybe what doodads they apply to. (I don't know don't ask me)

AC is used in amplifiers I think... and you need to know stuff like RMS and Peak to peak voltages...

And you need to know how ACDC is not an electrical current

it shouldn't be. Knowing what RMS is was only required for the transistor questions but since they have been taken out, RMS is no longer in the study design for electronics and photonics.

hmm, I think you should need a few ideas.

- In modulation, the graph that appears after the photodiode has generated a current is still a DC signal even though it is a fluctuating sine wave. Its not AC because it will be above the positive X axis, hence it only has one direction (positive) therefore it is still a DC wave.

- CRO screens, just be familiar with them, even if they dont come up in the exam
