How do people make math formula sheets on a computer? What sort of technology do you need?

Also how do they draw and label axes and stuff?

Firstly, I'd start off by stating that the best maths cheat-sheets and formula sheets are done by hand; this way you get complete design control over everything you write and how you place everything. Furthermore, I've found that hand-writing cheat-sheets prior to SACs (and the exam!) is an extremely effective form of revision, separate from simply doing practice questions.

However, if you're set on using your computer, Microsoft Word 2007 has quite a good system for constructing equations:
  • Go to 'Insert' on the top bar
  • Select the 'Equation' button (depicted by the pi symbol). The drop-down button also has a list of common formulae.

However, I do not believe you can use MS Word to construct axes or graphs of that nature.

Best of luck!

for graphing, normally best to make the graph in something else, then insert the image. e.g. desmos or winplot

As for the actual maths... The word math editor really annoys me, I used a proper LaTeX maths editor to do the job.

You can use to type out maths more beautifully than microsoft word. If you can't be bothered learning how to use it, there is a program called LyX which lets you type everything out as you would in microsoft word.

For graphs, you could try taking screenshots from the TI Nspire student software.

LYX FTW! :D

But yeh, like these notes were made in Lyx, comes out pretty nicely if you know how to organise it right :D http://www.atarnotes.com/?p=notes&a=feedback&id=841
