And im just saying that for that much money you can get a normal laptop with a dedicated graphics card
And I'm saying that dedicated graphics card is pointless for doing real work. Macbooks are not multi-purpose machines for gaming enthusiasts (read: most computer enthusiasts). They are for people who has lots of work, and no time for the usual bullshit that is associated with a 'normal' laptop.
Despite what Apple marketing says (their job is to fool people to buy their product), the actual value of a Macbook is not in its specs or the usual hardware. It's in the integration of different components, and how each component is built to the same high quality. I challenge you to find an ultrabook with the same quality touch-pad, battery life, chasis (read: not plastic) & audio output. I will even forgo the software and aesthetics. Can you find a better spec laptop, with the same form factor, with the same portability, at a lower price than macbooks?
