I'm not sure about your original question but there's an incredible Methods/Spesh tutor on the forums that lives really close to that area if one of those was a subject you were looking for. B^3 is the tutor if that means anything to you.

im always a bit skeptical of Dr X, maths genius. No doubt that that Dr X is a maths genius, but thats not necessarily the best approach for vce. I think sitting the exams, and knowing how to get that marks is more valuable. Never heard of Dr Long, but my recommendation certainly goes to b^3 over this person

So true, having advanced maths knowledge that is irrelevant to VCE is quite useless. Also being knowledgeable and being a good teacher is completely different. One who explains things in simple terms while providing motivation and tips to study is much more valuable IMO.

Unfortunately, I've had to edit the last few posts of this thread as we received requests from School No 1 asking us to take down what they believed to be barbaric/disgusting/untrue comments.

However, I just wanted to reinforce to everyone in this community that moderators will NEVER edit your posts unless we have to! That's probably the worst piece of publicity School No. 1 could have gotten. I don't need to know anything else about this school to form my opinion.
