Should I take notes with pen and paper or iPads?

I reckon if you use pen and paper you'll keep your handwriting skills up

Definitely pen and paper. It's old school but it works for me.

Definitely pen and paper. It looks so tedious to write/type on iPad/tablets. It's up to what you prefer though.
Nothing beats having the documents in hard copy in front of you. It's just so much more user friendly imo - especially if you're doing assignments or studying for exams, you'll have to have multiple documents open which may include stuff like lecture slides, hand written notes, tutorial questions/notes/solutions etc.
