Sorry for my annoying questions...but is it more advantageous to study science rather than environments to get into masters of civil after completing the postgraduate..or are they pretty much the same?

here's a comparison:

http://www.benvs.unimelb.edu.au/major/civil-systems

http://www.eng.unimelb.edu.au/study/undergraduate/civil.html

These outline the differences between the majors of the two undergrads, the subjects differ. I'd look on the handbook to see which subjects sound better.

I'd imagine the outcomes at the end of either degree are identical.
2012-2014. BSc: Neuroscience. University of Melbourne.
2015-2018. Doctor of Optometry. University of Melbourne.

Unlikely to respond to any PMs these days.

I'm absolutely ecstatic that I landed a place in Science at Melbourne Uni!
Even though the clearly-in went up this year, I wasn't really worried about my ATAR being insufficient, but when I was loading the page, I won't lie - I was terrified.

Oh man I almost messed things up, I seriously had no idea how the preferences/offers would work apart from your first and didn't have my 2nd ideal course that I could get into as my 2nd preference. Got offered Arts at Monash for Round 1 and had my negotiated offer approved for Law/Arts at Latrobe.

Science UoM had a clearly-in of 91.95 compared to 90.15. Congrats on getting into Monash Sci!

WTF?! When I started at Melbourne, the clearly in was only 85. I blame the Melbourne Model for combining everybody wanting to do engineering, science and medicine (those who get <99) in one degree.
