Where's a good place to buy a study desk?

im looking for something like this

I dont want any drawers and don't want to spend a lot of money and want something light.

I would like one of those desks that curve/bend at a corner, like this:

is there a name for these? corner desks? I couldn't find any at office works and that was the first place that came to mind.

i'm getting a bit carried away here

Shut up Nacho you haven't even read the book. You've fallen victim to the Ikea nesting instinct.

Have I really? Or do I just want a desk?

If you're going to accept everything chuck says word for word, then you'll misinterpret his message . What would make him different from any society which imposes faux pas upon you? He would be the polar opposite - and polar opposites are equally wrong.

Do you live near dandenong by any chance? There are at least 3-4 shops for furniture, all of them had corner tables and simple desks when I went. Some of the simple ones like your first picture were about $100. Try officeworks as well!

Officeworks, amart furniture superstore and even gumtree because buying second hand can save you heaps. I really wanted my desk I've got at the moment, left it too late to buy it in store, was looking on gumtree, bam, $90 instead of $280  :D

IKEA has a lot of nice cheap desks. Some in a modernish style too.

We bought one of their cheap desks and once we assembled it, it was really unstable so we ended up returning it. The quality was good in a way, but the joints between the legs and the table top probably weren't engineered well.

yea I live pretty close to dandenong.

I didn't like the ones from sam's warehouse or officeworks

I think i will go to this IKEA, i've heard so much about it, which is weird because its just a furniture store

You might want to visit those stores like A-mart, fantastic furniture and stuff. You're bound to find one you like!

Try BigW and Kmart, they have some great tables; especially around this time of the year.

Good luck finidng your desired table :)
