Thanks I think i will be getting a model that's between 1999 and 2004, the newer ones are way out of my budget lol and yes, i will make sure they are clear as possible
Would you happen to know what the steptronic feature is for BMWs? is it something to do with the car being both auto and manual?
Somewhere around 2002 is when they updated to the newer e46 design. You'll see, the headlights, curve upwards instead of down.

Steptronic is a fancy way of saying tiptronic.
Basically in an automatic car, the car changes the gears via computer control. This is when it's in Drive (D). For steptronic, you'd push the level thing to one of the sides, and if you push it either up or down, the computer will change the gear only when you push the lever.
