Hey!

Does it matter if we purchase an older edition textbook, than the one that is prescribed? For example for Campbell Biology 9ed, can we instead get an 8th ed? Not much difference?

thanks :)

last semester I used an older edition of the 1st year Marketing textbook and the only difference was that some of the pages from the older edition were removed to make the new edition more concise

the material was hardly different between the two editions minus the missing pages so ehh.

No, there shouldn't be much difference.
I used an older edition of the Chemistry textbook. There was the main textbook, and a supplement.
The new edition just had those two bound together, and some new pictures. The content shouldn't change that much.

If there is a small difference and you really need it, you can always use the copies in the libraries.
