Which components of 1/2 Chem are the most important for 3/4?

I remember quite a fair bit of 1/2 Chemistry, primarily Redox, Stoichiometry, Acid/Bases, the mole and Gas Laws and the basics (bonding and such).
Can anyone tell me which parts are the most important in order to do well in Chem 3/4?
I'm not trying to focus on one part more than the other, I'm just not sure which knowledge is absolutely crucial and I can't have any gaps in my knowledge in.  :-\

Units 1&2 Chemistry has been really well structured in my opinion and the way it builds upon knowledge in such a sequential way is really beneficial. I think quite a lot of it is very relevant to Units 3&4.

I agree with stick! Nearly everything is covered in 3/4 , that you do in 1/2! Good luck!! And post any questions you have  up on the relevant boards!

Thank you both, I'll be sure to post any questions I need in the appropriate sections.

I know it is quite early because I haven't really done Chem 1+2 yet, but are electron shells + subshell notations directly important, or are they important for other purposes like calculations, etc. It is merely because I find them SO enjoyable from the head start homework. However, I'm dreading the History component; I was punching myself in the face trying not to sleep whilst learning about Dalton and Mendeleev and their relation to everything. Grr!

No you don't need to know the history stuff for 3/4  :). However some of this history of scientists can be quite interesting, just not how its written in the textbooks haha. I recommend "A Short History of Nearly Everything" by Bill Bryson if you have the time for reading outside of your studies.

And back on topic, unfortunately for you, sub-shell notation is not a requirement of the 3/4 course.

I believe it is very useful for university Chemistry and Physics, however. :)
