u = 60sin30
a = -10
v = 0

sub in and solve for x

that's how I did it.

Exactly...two marks right there.

Unless it's like 1 mark for correct formula 1 mark for correct substitution 1 mark for rearranging 1 mark for correct answer.

haha.

Increase. Increasing resistance = less current. Less current = greater thermistor resistance = lower temperature.

For those who did further electronics, for the zener diode graph, did you have dips? I put dips because the input graph showed it dip below 6V

Do you mean the zener diode stuff on the last page, about how much current goes through it or do you mean the question with the transformer circuit, diode bridge, etc? I put B, straight 6v as only 6v will go through to the resistor. Maybe i got that wrong.  :'(

Damn...we'll see...not many ppl do further electricity though...

For the electricity and photonics part of the exam, the question about the Gain of the amplifier, did you guys get -300? One of my friends said to just put 300...?

fuck

Don't worry yet, have to wait for someone to confirm the right answer.

Can be stated as 300 or -300.

For the last zener diode question about current i put 40mA as 4V / 100O = 40mA. Otherwise, it was 6V / 3000 Ohm resister, which was a much less current. I put answer as 40mA though, because i essentially did current in series is the same, and 100 Ohm resister was in series with Zener, and resistor across Zener was parallel, having it's own current. Not sure

last zener diode question was 38mA, the 3000ohm resistor took 2mA. And the current through the 100ohm resistor was 40mA so the 40mA split up when it goes through the parallel circuit and the zener diode gets 38mA.  The answer was C not D.

I was thinking the same as you when i first saw it but after i found the current in the circuit i started to think again.
