In my opinion, the exam was an absolute joke.

Physics exams should be about testing students' understanding of physical concepts, not about plugging numbers into formulae. There weren't any challenging questions in it whatsoever, so the difference between the top students and the not-so-great ones will be whether or not people made careless misatkes.

I think I did OK (can't think of any mistakes, but I might have looked over one of something), but I didn't enjoy the exam at all. Call me a nerd if you like, but I prefer harder questions - they're more fun! Hopefully Unit 4 will be a heck of a lot more difficult.

Yeh it was very easy, a lot of people will score well without putting the time in. I put a lot of time into revising, although not as much as some, but i am able to do any question from 2002 to 2008 in Motion etc without getting anything wrong, maybe a few lost marks on the worded Q's.. and we get this, this was too easy

Yes. Exams should be about differentiating people depending on the amount of work they put into a subject

Not just that. I was hoping for questions that would test our intrinsic understanding of the concepts... but alas. Anyway, I memorised my MC answers, and it looks like I got 90 :) (presuming that my explanations were adequate).

I REALLY REALLY want a hard exam 2.

Yeah that was quite a joke I was expecting MUCH harder...I honestly prefer harder questions. They driscriminate the average between the good, which is what this ranking system is about. AND, it allows for more slip-ups, not this "lose 2 marks out of 90, get a C+" business (exagerration...).

I COMPLETELY agree!

Hard questions are fun :) It's a shame that they don't have too many of them in the VCE course... I've taken to stealing my parents' old uni books. :)

Same, I really wish they have a much MUCH harder exam 2... or else it ruins all the fun :)
