Hey, I'm an Arts student and need some help with timetabling for science subjects (namely BIOL10004 - Biology of Cells and Organisms). I asked the Science Students Society person and they said I'd be able to figure it out on the day which doesn't help lol.
How exactly do you timetable for science subjects?
Looking at the timetable -
https://sis.unimelb.edu.au/cgi-bin/subjects.pl?scode=BIOL10004&year=2013 - the only thing listed are workshops (all W01/x) and lectures (L01/a, L02/b and L03/c).
The thing is, the handbook -
https://handbook.unimelb.edu.au/view/2013/BIOL10004 - says I need to do the following:
"Contact Hours: 3 x one hour lectures per week, 18 hours of workshops (1 hour of theory workshop and 2 hours of practical workshop per fortnight), 6 hours of additional problem solving classes (1 hour per fortnight), 24 hours of pre-and post laboratory activities (2 hours per week), 24 hours of e-learning, online activities including independent learning tasks (2 hours per week)."
So do I just select one W01, one L01, one L02 and one L03?
Thanks!!
