Lol there's a pretty big group starting on facebook getting everyone to mention george clooney in noe way or another in their written response. Would be quite funny if heaps of people pull it off haha.

bel-air essay? as in the fresh prince?

and yeah im also aware of that george clooney group, lol.
but i don't think i will be participating...

Why is everyone treating this like its not worthy of even being called a test? I would have thought that people would have worked the hardest on this so that if they do stuff up their other exams they can use their GAT scores as an "insurance policy"...

No one said anything about not taking this seriously. At least I'm taking it seriously...I'm just saying I'd mention Clooney discretely. As long as it flows and fits in with what I'm saying, sure, why not? Far as I know there aren't any rules against using the words "george clooney" in the GAT :P Besides, could you imagine what VCAA would be thinking!!

I'm actually going to take the GAT seriously.

I'm applying for a DES. If the examiners didn't like my explanations in my physics exam (I thought they were OK, but I don't know how VCAA people think!), hopefully my GAT will be good enough to compensate :)

I'm sick and in no condition to do the GAT tomorrow. I don't think I'll do well. I do have a doctor's certificate so can I do the GAT on another day?
2009:

Vietnamese: 22 [26]

2010:
Chemistry: 40+
Physics: 45+
Specialist Maths: 40+

Ignore the above. I've failed Year 12 and life. I've had an epiphany... I'm destined to become a gigalo.

in the essay what are they looking for, references to texts? - because Ocean's Eleven...

...Brad Pitts constant snacking is a metaphor for his hedonistic approach to life finishing, consuming if you will what comes his way.
Yen on the other hand represents the typical Asian, which all possess that fine sense of balance and refusal to conform to the english language.
