Are the examiners really that strict? Do they full on walk around for the whole exam duration spotting potential cheaters etc?
Cause when I did the gat we had like really old people that just sat at the back of the room and didn't really pay attention... Then again, I don't think anyone would cheat on the gat...

Year 12s, you should get to sleep! No point staying up too late given exams are like the day after tmr... I"M SERIOUS GET OFF ATARNOTES AND GO TO BED.

Varies. You get some that stand at the end of the rows, and others that will walk up and down and check the barcode of your highlighter to make sure it isn't cheat-notes.

those at my school were so kick-back last year. My friend wasn't aware of the no-calculator thing during reading time even though they tell at start, and so he did nearly all of the core on his calculator that he could during reading time.

Your friend is a lucky guy! The supervisors at our school are really strict. =/

The supervisors for our GAT were pretty laid back. I think one was reading a book or a newspaper I forgot.

OMG haha!

The only main issue I've got now is with sleep :/
I literally try EVERYTHING to ensure that I will get a good nights sleep, yet I always seem so lie awake for hours and consequently turn into a brain dead zombie the next day :'(

the trick is trying not to silence the anxiety by trying to rationalise your situation. Accept the stress as normal, provide a 'mental space' for it in your brain, and you'll find that it wont be able to terrorise you any longer haha *developing crappy tricks as a form of procrastination*

Also, take the pressure off! Don't lie in bed thinking 'if I don't fall asleep THIS SECOND my brain is going to be non-functioning goop tomorrow', because that's not true :P Just try to lie there with your eyes closed and remember that even in that state you are allowing your body some time to relax. The rest will come.
Always here to help!

Yeah, despite going to bed allowing for a 9 hour sleep before my exams, the inner voices always get you. It's important to try to go to sleep early, (look, even resting in bed is more beneficial than studying imo), but if you can't, there are worse things. It's not worth stressing about. Alon didn't sleep the night before the English exam and smashed it. There have also been uni exams when my quantity of sleep has been equivalent to 473ml of Red Bull, however many hours that may be. It isn't necessary to sleep really well to ace an exam - it's just going to make it a bit easier on yourself. Ultimattely, in that exam it'll be like "oh shit, this is it" that your focus will be keen enough you'll forget you feel tired.
✌️just do what makes you happy ✌️

I had like three hours sleep. I feel pretty exhausted and run down. I agree though.

Unconsciousness = less time to speculate
