No one writes creative style responses.
Hi there. My exam had no less than four haiku poems included within.

I was talking about my own school. For some reason, we were never introduced to creative essays and the teachers only wanted expository and persuasive essays.

Creative is the easiest to demonstrate shit writing with imo. Also easiest to fuck up. Also requires a ballsy student (not to be conceited) to write creatively with confidence on the exam when they know it's risky.

By the way, just a general apology on the big essay-feedback delay at the moment. I'm so smashed/tired when I get home from Uni and then I have more reading to do as well.

Just had my first Specialist SAC yesterday and received the results today... boy did I get lucky. XD Also, I'm not sure if this is regular practice, but for my Specialist cohort, rank 1 for each SAC will receive 100% as the awarded grade (regardless of the raw mark) and everyone else's score is calculated as a percentage based on the first rank's score. This is only for Specialist and the reasoning behind it is that it means our SAC results look more favourable to VCAA. Not sure if this is allowed, but it doesn't change the ranking overall - it mainly just allows some people to pass after moderation.

Please share your Specialist mark, not the exact score, but approximately... :D

Lala. "I got lucky" = I got 100% but don't want to appear conceited.

How can I give an approximate mark? XD

My SAC covered all the content in chapters 1-4 and I scored in the mid 80s. This was the highest result in my cohort and will be standardised to 100% (yay!). However, I definitely feel I could've done MUCH better because I didn't find the assessment very difficult and about half of the marks I lost were due to silly errors. Unfortunately, time was an issue and I felt rushed, hence why they came into effect. To give you an example, I didn't label my axes for any of the graphs I sketched. :P Oh well, I got lucky in the end. :D

Organic chem sac today :'(
It was so, so bad.
I know organic chem is pretty simple: there's hardly any theory to learn etc, but the sac was just really confusing, everyone was pressed for time, and the questions were much much harder than past vcaa papers and even the AN chem guide.

Aw, man. What a horrible start to the year.

OH McFleurry!
I can totally totally relate you here! Just had my first chem sac  and it was on possibly the EASIEST TOPIC in the whole chem course; gravimetric analysis. And I still managed to screw that up! The last 4 mark question completely screwed me over, and I only realised how to do it in the last 1 minute or so, which then I didn't get to complete unfortunately  :( Definitely a horrible start to the year, considering that I assume SACS are only going to get harder from here!!!! I feel your pain  :'(

I assume SACS are only going to get harder from here!!!!

And your results are only going to get better from here. Remember that the only way you can go is up.

Suppose you get B+ for the first SAC ? So what? It's not like you're going to get a B for the next one!? How can you -- you're motivation is going to press you to get that A, and then that A+! A+ from then on - trust me  :D
