I ended my exam essay with a maked up quote and the quotes and examples in my 3rd Paragraph were from a book that I made up called "The life of Madita" by german playwright Robert V. Wiswe.
So can't stop laughing now. Confidence boost for Context section in exam = out of the roof

I'm not recommending it though, it was just that the examples that I studied before couldn't really fit the prompt.
But I mean it is kinda an imaginitive/expository hybrid I guess, so nobody can say something against it :p

True, but I'm the one who always gets stuck in my third paragraph, that kid at the back of the class who is pulling his hair out trying to think of any example at all in last 10 minutes of the SAC.

I'm clinging onto an edge of a cliff with my fingers and my studies are trying to pull me off.

Every time, each of my subject teachers say there's a SAC next week (I've managed to total 4 for next week 3 on tues, 1 on mon) it's like someone just slapped me with a wet fish. It's shocking. It's absurd how badly timed these damn things are popping up all over the place. And so much for my study schedules which went out the door when I had to go all out on methods for 3 days.

Yeah, I'm feeling that SAC weight now.

Oh my goodness that's freaking hilarious and you have no idea how tempted I am to try that.

How are you guys going with your studies?

I'm starting to get really engaged with my work. I didn't have them feels in term one. Stuff is happening! I am getting stuff done! I am interested in what I am learning! Yay! Stuff!

My latest round of sacs have been really good; actually, way way better than I expected! I haven't lost any marks in English so far! My confidence is back up and I'm ready for the next lot of assessment. Bring it on! :)

Alsoalsoalso I am starting to get an impression of what my graphic novel is going to look like for unit 4 art and for unit 3 I'm doing portraiture and I just did a portrait of my sister for practice with oil pastels and it actually has a remote resemblance to her hfliuwaehfilueahuiweafgiuewgf art is exciting and I have had a sudden spurt of inspiration which I've had to document.

The next real challenge will be the upcoming German sac. It's a role play so I'll have to come up with a whole lot of spontaneous German with vocab I've only just learned. I think this will be hard, but I'm trying to prepare as much as I can because I can't afford to mess up again in German.

Apart from that, I feel most serendipitous!!!!!! I think happiness is one of those things you only find after you stop chasing after it. :P

For anybody who is feeling stressed, I totally know what it's like to feel stressed and it sucks ( to be honest I'm probably  only in a temporary stage of not-being-stressed)
Keep at it, stay optimistic, achieve your goals, you're so capable of this, you can do it! :)

That's great, I'm sorta at that stage now except for English.
Whenever I see your sig I cringe! All your subjects are language/writing, idk how you cope..!

I don't know, that's just what I like doing. :P I truly enjoy each one of my subjects. I couldn't cope with doing all out science/maths, either. (like my brother did)  :P It looks as if you've got a mix of Maths/Technology/Business subjects. :) Each to their own I guess!

(That said,  with all the writing I've had to do, I've noticed that I'm getting more pins and needles in my hand this year D:)

though it's not vce that i am in :p
it's SAC period now here to, in germany we have to do 3 subjects on spesh level, I chose spesh math, physics and english :D. Had the English sac on tuesday, it was weird:
We first had a listening comprehension part, which was quite easy.
The second part was reading a text about a boy on the empire state building from "Extremly loud and incredibly close". We had then too summarize the text and analyze some features.
the third part was then too write an additional chapter of The Reluctant Fundamentalist of him on the empire state building directly after he came back from Chile reflecting deeply on a few things.

I loved my story, but when I went out of the room I realised that one of the points he reflected on in my story, the death of his 'girlfriend' Erica, actually happened a bit later :(. Otherwise I think I've done well. However utilizing the same phraseology as the author of TRF was quite hard :/.
I'm always making prose writing fun though by trying to apply the most ridiculously eloquent language possible :p. I did so in the sac :p. Used some nice vocab such as "ostentatious patriotism", "the monolithical view that Arab equals terrorist", oh and I used the word archetypal I kinda like that word :p

Tomorrow I have my physics sac hope the teacher won't make it too hard. Last time instead of given us values and letting us do calculation using those he gave us a push-botton, a capacitor (with unknown capacity), some wires and 2 resisitors (with known resistance) and a power supply as well as a volt meter and a stop watch. So with that that we had to calculate the capacity :/, did well, but it was freakin hard/weird/surprising.
