I only have 3 subjects in school this year. 6 period days.

Week 1: 14 class periods, 16 free periods.  Week 2: 13 class periods, 17 free periods.
On average 10% (overall) more frees than classes.

Anyone wanna try beat that? XD

Um,yes. (don't you take like 3 subjects out of school anyway?)
I'm literally a part-time student. As in, there's a 50% chance I'm in class....:)

Hardest part about year 12 is just to keep moving, there can be so many setbacks, but if you stop moving forward you'll just get swamped with all the SACs. I was getting so sick of the whole year 12 July thing, starting August gives hope for a foreseeable future  ;)

Yes, I actually think these past few weeks of term 3 were the WORST of year 12 in terms of stress and just motivation, and with a flood of SACs for the next 2 weeks, i just don't know what to do :( I just want to finish school and have no more bloody hw or SACs.. Like I'm more excited to do practice exams in prep for the VCAA exams than study and do all this freaking homework..  I SWEAR, ONCE MY LAST VCAA EXAM IS DONE...

Even though I am in year 11 doing 2 year 12 subjects, and my workload is not comparable to yours in any shape or form, I can totally relate. Especially doing subjects with 10 SACs, they're major setbacks. Plus, to secure good ranking, you need to do well on the SACs. Therefore, you need to find the time to learn the content, study for SACs and revise the content for how ever many subjects you do!

Its all about pacing yourself + just moving as you said! Otherwise, you'll be left behind!

Yeah I am over SACs. There's so many and my teachers cant plan correctly. I don't even know when my SACs are so it's hard to know when I should revise and when to delay homework. I think I'll be heading into term 4 for three of my subjects which will set me back a lot.

I feel like I've been doing fine in SACs but what troubles me most is that I'm behind on revision. Like, I try to revise concepts regularly but it's so damn hard! especially when you're learning new things!!! it feels like I'm performing a balancing act. Urgh!

Yeah that's the problem for me too! Thus far, I've been extremely happy with all my sac marks, but like you said, the issue is trying to fit in revision when there's so much else going on!

Remember that final exams are more important that sacs, so having revision is very important!

We hope what is assessed in SACs would appear on the exam, one of my chem SACs had bio-like gene manipulation technology in it, THAT ISN'T ON THE STUDY DESIGN but in the textbook. The logic of it was highly questionable..  :P

By "chem" you mean "Potions" right? I don't believe Hogwarts offers "chemistry" ;) And by "gene manipulation" I'm assuming your Potions master must be dabbling in some Transfiguration assessments?

Dear User,

We have had troubles keeping threads of this nature on-topic in the past.
You have been issued with a warning for an off-topic post. I see the humour in your post, however, bullying a user, who is surely destined to marry Bella and defeat Jacob, just for  having a fictional school listed in the profile is not appreciated.

The ATARNotes Forum Team.
