Thanks for the advice/ reassurance guys!

And I'm the same as you Lala1911, it took me forever to get to sleep last night, then I woke up in my brothers room! (I have a bad habit of sleepwalking and my brother doesn't live at home anymore). But yeah, going into zen mode tonight!

As more anecdotal evidence, I did one part of a lit sac on ~3 hours sleep and received the same score that I did when I completed the second part after a solid 8 hours. As Brenden said above, the adrenaline and that 'this is it' feeling will eclipse any fatigue :)
Always here to help!

For the English Exam? No. =/

I don't know if you already know this, but VCAA Scans your Answer Book and then sends it to your assessors. If you use pencil, it won't show up very clearly on the scanner. You MUST use a pen. :)

just write with a gap in between your lines of writing, and add in any changes you like. Dont write with pencil. I know someone who did this (a literary prodigy - you have no idea) and they got an ss of 37. Although you might say that that is awesome (which it is), but this kid was brilliant beyond brilliant. You dont want to get a lower mark simply cause of some faulty scanning and smudging

Yup, just raise your hand and a supervisor will bring you an extra script book. If you do use 2, make sure you write "2" for the box where it says "Number of Answer Books Used".

My biggest concern is whether I will get up for the exam in time or not. 11am wake-ups all SWOTVAC  :P

Got a bit of a rude awakening this morning, though. The whole road strip out the side of my house (so, right next to my room AND study) is getting resurfaced. Been pretty difficult to stay focused between:

1) The tradesman's radios blasting
2) The constant *beep beep beep* every ten seconds when the bobcat laying down the new under-surface is backing up.
3) The whole house vibrating due to the tearing up of the old road via jack-hammers

They've finished now, but they were going from 8:30am - 2pm.

I guess my biggest advice for everyone to take from this is NEVER BANK ON HAVING EVERYTHING GO PERFECTLY THE DAY BEFORE AN EXAM. You may have all your 'last read-over' notes arranged, your quotes highlighted, your last practice exam selected... but there are external factors that can affect this.

Other than that, best of luck to us all tomorrow :) Still feels weird knowing I'm sitting my last ever English exam tomorrow :P

This is a really stupid but legit question... Can I take tissues into the exam? Just in case I need them and also in case I need padding for my thumb while writing so it doesn't hurt too much.. I was just gonna keep some tissues on my table next to my pens and all, is that ok or will the supervisors take them away or something?

I honestly can't see why not, but they might be suspicious of notes or something, so maybe they'll check it and you'll be all good? Or maybe bring a sealed pack in?

Yeah I was gonna bring in a sealed pack, but it's got some writing on it, so wouldn't they not like that?

you may just have to take some from the supervisors. They always have a box for the morning exams since there are so many people snorting their snot repeatedly. It gets so annoying after a while.

but yeah people could easily take in notes that way, so probs not. :D

I was allowed to last year, but I put my little packet on the ground. Worse comes to worst, bring the pack in, pull out the tissues, bin the packet :)

Or as lolipopper said grab some from the supervisors providing there's some ofc :)
