Common room with kitchen facilities (had an inferior one last year), allowed to leave school when we don't have class (but did that anyway last year), generally a bit more special treatment, getting to run certain assemblies. And just a few little things here and there.

Just the feeling of superiority over all the other year levels. Other things as well but that's the most important.

We have a common room, 4 microwaves & 3 sandwich pressers, a plasma TV, couches & tables.

Ermm - we have a special year 12 tie & we wear a white collar shirt instead of blue collar during winter.

We also have special year 12 rugby jumpers - these are cool  :D

ANNNNDD... we have special house t-shirts with our nickname sewn on the back  :)

So yeah - I think that's it

Back in the day, we were allowed to wear a maroon jumper if we bought one, and were allowed to wear our yr12 jacket as our outer garment when they were out.

Pretty lame, wish we had a common room (it would probs get trashed though).

edit: typo zzzz

Wow, a common room would be amazing! There would be fireplaces and house elf's and it would be like Harry Potter, and it would be completely awesome.

As a student at a school with a common room, I can confirm that this is a 100% accurate depiction of a common room.

I remember putting a CD in one of those microwaves back in yr8 with some mates. Back when I was totally rebel and all that jazz. It stunk for about 3 days, would not endorse it.

But yeah, the "new" (as in it was built just when I left UHS - so it's forever new to me haha) VCE level is really cool!

Haha It aint new anymore :/ it's actually not really cool since you have to walk technically 6 flight of stairs just to get to the top lmao. I'm pretty sure yesterday my whole back was soAked with sweat...

We had a common room once upon a time. Then they took it away in order to make more locker space for the younger year levels. -.- Now we just have a small kitchenette, with a microwave, fridge, etc. :)
Up until last year, students doing 5 or less subjects also had free periods, but they changed that too. Now it's only students with 4 subjects which have free periods. I'm not complaining, as I still have 6 free* periods, but it's pretty crap because there aren't many students with frees. :/

Also, we get a study room too. That's prob my fave, considering it has become our substitute for a common room. xD

Nothing except for a dull open room labelled as the study room, where people go to scream like goats and pretend to study.

Wow... We have no common room, we have one sandwhich press in the canteen and two microwaves, but its shared between year 11 and 12's. We're off on our own campus. I guess thats enough bonus, not having to put up with all of those annoying other people... (year 7's)

Just curious.

A special tie. :|

We get a formal, valedictory dinner and a Year 12 jumper if we as a year level raise $12000 for our school network's missionary work. The perks of going to a Catholic school… :P

Absolutely nothing apart from an outside terrace and the superior feeling.

We had absolutely nothing. Probably why I didn't like my study environment at school at all, we were treated like little kids.

As for uniform, we got to wear a white shirt from Year 11 onwards. I also had a special tie cause I was a leader.
