sure man, I was pretty much in your situation last year (came home around 5:30 and also did 5 subjects including methods and chem).
It actually depends on the scenario at home, I mean for me, I have a pretty big family (including me there are 6 kids) so you can pretty much tell how noisy it is during the day and to the hours leading up to falling asleep. So what I did was, as soon as I got home, I would eat and straight away do some light revising of everything I learned that day (note: its important to do that regularly) until about 8:00pm.
I would then go to sleep and wake up at 4:00am (still getting around 8 hours sleep) and do some hardcore studying until 8:00am (with of course breaks in between).
The reason I study so early in the morning is because that is when my house is like really really quiet and not to mention i'm a morning type person!
Everyone has their own routines that work for them, this just happened to be mine! Be free to copy, redesign, or just completely discard it!!! ;D ;D ;D

Brilliant. That's really awesome (and unfortunate!) that you got up at 4am. Well done.
✌️just do what makes you happy ✌️

haha thanks!

Oh and you should also note that it takes about 2 weeks for one to adapt to a new sleeping routine so if you do want to try my way then you should give it at least 2 weeks to get used to :)
