Is there any reason why Hough isn't taking the classes?
And what happened to the guilt free snack? =S

yup.

he feeds us apples, grapes, dried fruits, coconut coated marsh mallows, corn chips.

haha...as for breaks...sometimes he's on time, other times, he goes on for a long while...and when he really gets stuck into it, he goes over time. but it's all cool =]

I think Mao volunteers, just like he always volunteers to do good deeds for his fellow MAT1055/MAT1085 classmates. GOOD DEEDS.

anyways .. . .. i was wondering are allowed to
-use ti 89 calc?
-bring as many books to our desire? if so . . . what do you guys suggest to bring?
-is it true we that there is no point in doing exams before 2003, since the course changed?
-is the marking scheme more harsher than VCE? If so in what way... consequential marks etc..?

- I used a TI-89 - no troubles there. I also brought with me my TI-84 and scientific calculators but only because I'm paranoid one might explode.
- Yep, open book with no restrictions. We kinda lugged our huge-ass textbooks along to the first exam, then realised we didn't use all/much of it. I'd bring your notes (if you took down notes ...) because they're easier for finding information you need. SAMPLE PAST PAPER SOLUTIONS, the questions are in the same format most of the time and if you forget how to do something you can remember the steps by just looking at similar questions/answers.
- not sure about the last two

should be fine :) it's an open book exam, so long as you don't bring something electronic like a LAPTOP or a PHONE, examiners really DON'T CARE.
