I don't think the lecturer marks it. Out of curiosity though, who is your lecturer? =)

Email Couchman about getting answers and he might put them up on Blackboard. (I think he either does them by scratch or has them stored away somewhere lol) I think I emailed him one night and the next morning he had a folder up with solutions haha.

I just looked through my folder and found a lot of MAT1085 solutions but no MAT1055. There has to be some because I remember taking a lot of solutions into the actual examination ... and printing a pile of stuff for that semester.

He is awesome! No way does he hate anyone =S
THIS. He cannot have hate :<

dw. He took a lot of marks off me as well, sometimes for very silly things. I think it comes with being a mathematician.

but couchman = THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST

As eddie has already linked you to the 08 solutions I written up (possibly not COMPLETELY correct), here's the 05 solutions I came up with (also may not be COMPLETELY correct) http://obsoletechaos.wordpress.com/mat1055-2005-exam-suggested-solutions-2/

thanks everyone!

haha i know couchman understands his stuff....but he's just so hilarious.

he writes something on the blackboard, gets his hand and rubs it out, only to write the same thing again. he repeats this cycle at least twice >.<
